Noise Monitoring
Noise monitoring is the acoustic accompaniment service for music, concert and cultural events. Whether for regulatory approval purposes or as evidence for public order authorities: acoustic measurements and expert reports are becoming ever more important today. Protecting residents from noise is a decisive factor for regulatory approvals, particularly in the context of events and concerts. We are by your side from the very beginning!
Before the Event Our preliminary acoustic assessment forms the basis from a regulatory perspective. Following approval by the authority, the permit is reviewed and the approved noise levels are verified.
During the Event You can also rely on us on the actual day of the event: from the initial level-setting through to sound measurements during the event and the real-time display of relevant levels on the monitor with a clear traffic-light colour visualisation, through to the dismantling of the measurement equipment – our competent team is there for you. With our hardware and software solution specially developed for mobile deployment, you have an innovative and reliable real-time measurement system at your side during your event, enabling your sound engineer to respond immediately to changes in noise levels.
After the Event We evaluate the recorded measurement results and prepare the measurement report for submission to the relevant authority.

“Noise Protection at Events” – Interview in Event Rookie 4/2011 with Jörn Latz, Kramer Schalltechnik GmbH
A noise protection concept is nowadays required just as often as a fire protection or evacuation concept. As a rule, organisers come to us when they need to demonstrate such a concept for a new or existing venue. These are often unusual venues that were not originally designed for events. The licensing authority then typically requires a noise protection concept – and that is where we come in. Based on the data and information, we then prepare an expert report showing whether the event is feasible as planned. This depends on the type of performance, the loudspeakers used, the power output and other boundary conditions such as the architecture or surroundings. The result clearly shows whether the limit values from the “Leisure Noise Guideline” will be complied with in the surrounding area, i.e. in neighbouring residential buildings.
